Intern Position – 2025

Position: Part-Time Intern (6 – 10 hours/week)

Duration: 4 months starting June/July

Location: Remote or Hybrid (London-based opportunity, SW10)

We’re offering a volunteer internship for a motivated individual eager to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of science, education, and advocacy.

Join a small, dynamic team at Hystelica, working to close the gender gap in psychedelic research, champion inclusive practices, and amplify women’s voices in this emerging field.

This internship presents the opportunity to:

  • Transform academic and scientific literature into accessible, engaging educational content
  • Curate events, both online and in-person, focused on women and psychedelics
  • Support social media and marketing campaigns to grow Hystelica’s reach and impact
  • Foster community and build networks, creating space for critical conversations around gender, health, and psychedelics
  • Work alongside researchers and gain direct experience in research communication and dissemination

For the right candidate, there is potential to become involved in active research and to progress into a longer-term role with Hystelica.

Desirable Skills
