Dr Grace Blest-Hopley
Founder and CEO
Grace founded Hystelica due to her passion and interest in women’s psychedelic use. Grace is a neuroscientist with a Ph.D from King’s College London. She has spent 10 + years research the effects of cannabinoids and psychedelics; across clinical, recreational and naturalistic settings.

Dr Zahira Cohen
Director of Research
Zahira is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge and a clinical research fellow at Imperial College London, where she focuses on female-specific psycho-neuro-biology and psychedelic assisted therapies.

Ingeborg Lykke Monsen
Researcher and Head of Operations
Ingeborg has a Master's in Clinical Psychology from King’s College London, where she researched the increased risk of psychosis during menopause. She has a passion for women’s mental health and psychedelic therapy.

Dr Lindsey Block
Research Associate
Lindsey has a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Pathology from the University of Wisconsin. From there, Lindsey completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, studying pregnancy complications. Currently, she is a lecturer at Northwestern University in Illinois. Lindsey is passionate about women's health and pregnancy, and strives to push the reproductive field forward by training and supporting the next generation of reproductive scientists.

Aline Frick
Research Assistant
Aline is a neuroscience master student at Maastricht University, the Netherlands. She has an interest in the interaction between hormonal cycle and psychedelic research, particularly focusing on the potential benefits psychedelics offer for female-specific conditions. Her vision is to cultivate a more equitable research focus on women's and mens' health in the field of psychedelics.

Tabitha is an undergraduate student at the University of Edinburgh. Over her internship at Hystelica she has spearheaded an extensive scooping review of sex differences in psychedelics.

Lana Porter
Hystelica Intern
Lana is a neuroscience researcher and breathwork facilitator, with specific interests in altered states of consciousness and hormetic stressors as novel therapeutics for trauma, stress and resiliency. She has a MSc Neuroscience (Distinction) from King’s College and a BSc in Women and Gender Studies from the University of Texas.

Harriet Lockwood
Hystelica Intern
Hattie has a Master’s in Experimental Psychology from the University of Sussex (Distinction), where she specialised in neuropsychopharmacology research. Since graduating, she has started working with Clerkenwell Health, a psychedelic-specialist CRO, and Beautiful Space, a psychedelic retreat company. As an Intern with Hystelica, she is exploring female experiences with psychedelics in retreat settings, and the relationships between the menstrual cycle and psychedelic response.
